This illustration depicts the state of falling in love, conveyed through air bubbles resembling boiling water. The bubbles become a metaphor for an inner feeling – as if emotions, thoughts and excitement rise to the surface at the same time, do not allow them to calm down and are constantly moving inside a person.

The bubbles of various sizes repeated in the composition create the impression of a bubbling, lively and unpredictable movement. They symbolize that difficult-to-control inner state when falling in love causes a physical and emotional shudder – it seems that the entire inner world begins to “boil”.

I am exploring how abstract visual elements can convey an emotion that is difficult to describe in words – the excitement of falling in love, lightness, anxiety and pleasant inner turmoil. The bubbling form becomes a visual image of a feeling – what happens inside a person when emotions become more intense than the ability to control them.
